You will be able to train the dog better if you can follow these tips which are specifically extracted from the videos and the lessons given by the expert dog trainers. These tips will help you to easily train the dog the way you have always desired without getting him to a dog training expert.

* The foremost thing is to remain positive. Remember that devolving a negative attitude will never help you. It will make your dog more stubborn and he will not learn a thing. He will not listen to you and will not obey you. So always keep this in your mind while training your puppy at home.
* Always reward your dog for the things that he is doing right. If you are not rewarding the dog then he will not feel encouraged and will not consider them worth doing. If you really want to become a good dog trainer, then this is the thing which will go a long way with you.
* While giving the commands to your dog, always makes sure that your tone is friendly and happy. If this is not the case, then you are not going to get a lot from your dog. He will not be doing the things happily and this will result in difficulties for you. Being friendly with the dog will make the things a lot easier for you. You will be able to make the dog obedient by just being friendly and avoiding anger while commanding him to do certain acts.
* When you are planning the start, make sure that your puppy is young. If you start too late, the things will become difficult for you. The ideal time is to start training the dog when he is 8 weeks old. At this time, the dog will have potential to learn a lot. His senses will be sharp and he will be observing the things keenly.
* Patience is the key here. If you are not patient, you will never be able to train your dog. Always remember that without patience you will create more troubles for yourself. If your dog is not listening to you or is doing the things which you have told him not to do; loosing the patience is no solution. It will make the case worse and you will not be able to find any solution to the problem at all.
